Welcome to JMoF 2025! In this session, JMoF staff will lecture you on how to enjoy JMoF and make the most of this opportunity to find new aspects of your furry life. Not only newcomers but also con veterans will be able to find brand-new aspects of JMoF here.

ファーリーやその文化に対する社会的関心は年々高まっているように見受けます。その中で、私たちファーリーが関心を持った一般の方々に「自己紹介」をする機会も多くなっていることでしょう。当シンポジウムでは、2024年に日本の学会や大学で実際に発表した、ファーリーを説明する営為を当事者に向けて再演します。私たちはどのように表現されるべきなのか、考えを巡らせる機会となれば幸いです。

We, furries and our cultures are gaining wider social awareness, and so our ‘self-presentation’ scenes for those interested in us are happening more. In this symposium, we re-present about who we are, what actually presented in Japanese academic conference and university in 2024. We hope you will take the opportunity to think about how we should be represented.

Furries’ Everything Is Research” is a lightening talk (short presentation) session where anything related to furries can be the topic of discussion: fursuiting, making art or goods, attending or organizing events, going travel, networking, and you name it.
Feel free to drop by and give listen to their dedicated “research”.
